Over the past several years I have been searching for a way to make a contribution to our increasingly stressful global situation. In 1992 my book The Power of Being proposed that a shift from consumer-oriented "doing" to Earth-focused "being" could make the difference. Over the past several years I have had the privileged to collect a series of photographic images aimed at increasing our awareness of the beauty and value of the Earth. As we re-focus on Earth-appreciation -social, political and economic divisions become less important. As we increase our "Power of Being" - our addiction to consuming reduces and the stress on our planet is correspondingly alleviated.
